Description: The scene depicts a huge statue looking remarkably like the Statue of Liberty. In front of it stand two men looking diminutive by comparison. One of them is the sculptor wielding a mallet and wearing a French moustache and beret; the other is a city official who comments that it looks very impressive but it seems to remind him of something he has seen before. The cartoon relates to the decision by the Waikato District Council to invite proposals for icons at the entrances of Huntly and Ngaruawahia which should 'Reflect the character of the respective town and promote its surrounds'. Other Titles - "Very impressive but I'm sure I've seen it somewhere before." Quantity: 1 digital cartoon(s).
