Description: Manuscript copy of a map of proposed works in the Whare o Maraenui Block, Napier, 1898, including Napier township and major roads, the Tukaekuri River, Meeanee, the Roman Catholic Mission at Meeanee, Jervoistown, the Waverley Hotel, Napier Park, Purinui Creek, the Ahuriri Harbour and the Western Spit from Petane. Depicts 200 acres of land to be reclaimed and sold, 30 acres reserved for the Napier Borough Council, 1525 acres to be leased and the proposed channel reserves.
