Description: Plan of some suburban sections in part of Feilding, highlighting unsold sections on Kimbolton Road (numbers 119-129, each between 5-10 acres) and one nearby section of over 51 acres. Includes annotations of the new road off Kimbolton Road leading to the new bridge over the Kiwitea Stream, and the site of the old bridge. The new road cuts through the unsold sections 121-4. Map drawn on 'The Colonists Land and Loan Corporation, Limited' letterhead paper. Drawn partly on rice or tissue paper with letter-head `The Colonists' Land and Loan Corporation, Limited... Photographed by Karl Gerstenkorn between 1890 and 1895. Seymour's house was built in 1867 by Sellwood. Mangape house was built by the missionaries, Engst and Baucke in about 1859. Description: Views of a trip along the Whanganui River with views of Paranui kainga (listed as Parinui in the album), showing groups of whare, groups of Maori, various activities in the kainga, canoes on the river, and many scenes of waterfalls along the river. These include Taraipokiore (or Tarei-po-Kiore), Otuitu Falls, Ohura Falls, Kakahi Falls. The "Ladder scene", copy of Denton photograph, and other views of the Whanganui River and Ohura River. There is a gap in the album, followed by a separate sequence on Napier. These images include panoramic views of Napier from various locations, church buildings (including exterior and interior views of St John's Cathedral), hotel buildings and other public buildings and memorial statues.
