Description: Shows a group of trees, probably pohutukawa, on the rocky edge of a foreground outcrop, with hills beyond. Accompanying caption slip (written in the late 1900s?) says: "Lake Beach is at the northern end of Takapuna Beach, near the camping ground. The flow of basalt which issued from L.
