Description: The first scene shows the horse standing on the red carpet being introduced to an enthusiastic crowd who are clapping and cheering. The second scene shows a corridor and the horse being led past the bar. Inside the bar one of the patrons can be seen telling the barman that he won't have anything more to drink because he thought he'd seen a horse and was worried he'd be seeing 'pink elephants next'. The artist is surrounded by mirrors which allowed views of her at work to be observed by the audience. Photographed by an Evening Post staff photographer on the 25th of June 1971. This event was staged by the Upper Hutt Art Society and the city's Save The Children Fund sub-branch to raise money for the fund. There is also a court book, written in English and Maori recording charges and verdicts of Maori offenders heard in the courts in the Taupo district, 1863-1873; cash book of the magistrate's court, Taupo, 1871-1878; and a general order book of the Taupo police station containing copies of circulars and memos, 1883-1906. Description: Cadastral map of the Parnell Borough of Auckland, from Mechanics Bay, St. Georges and Judges Bay down to Hobson's Bay, including the Waikato and Kaipara railway routes. Shows the Parnell rise and the road to Manukau and Epsom, Gladstone and Avenue Rd, St. Stephens, Ayr and Brighton, as well as the Domain. Sections 1-4 and 95 are shown, and numbered blocks and lots within each section. Grammar School, St Stephen's School, an orphan home, a cemetry, a sawmill the Alexandra Hotel, Windsor Castle. a cattle market and reclaimed land are also shown. A private road is shown off St. Georges Bay Road leading to the only named property, that of Mr Aitken, Section One, (84) - 538. Description: The first and largest section of this album records a trip in Canada and possibly the United States, made by a young man with a motor car about 1923. The second section are photographs taken on a visit to possibly Hawaii or Tahiti. Local people are recorded as well as a number of yachts tied up along the waterfront of a town, and a white warship. The third section include family photographs taken in Britain in the 1890s, and several shipboard views, two of which show what are probably crossing the line ceremonies involving a canvas swimming pool. Towards the end of the album a group of family photographs are associated with a large wooden New Zealand house. There is no information with the album Quantity: 1 album(s) Album(s).

They settled at Queenstown where seven of their eleven children were born. The essay also details the parallel wanderings and adventures of George Beer's brothers Henry, William and John, and sister Sarah Kyle.
