Description: Shows six inset photographs of the prizes in the lottery, separated by ornate decorative framing. First prize a piano (100 guineas); second prize a hooded phaeton (80 guineas); third prize a ladys' diamond bangle (60 guineas); fourth prize a bicycle (lady's or gent's) (25 guineas); fifth prize a dining room suite (25 guineas); and sixth prize a Densmore typewriter (25 guineas). Accompanied by a letter from the committee, signed by R Leslie Hunt and A Denniston, honorary secretaries. Crowd in Queen Street near the Auckland Town Hall

Description: View of Auckland Town Hall taken from Queen Street with the statue of Sir George Grey on the left and Grey Street on the right. A large crowd is gathered and all are looking towards the photographer. On the right is a horse and cart with a number of young men standing on board, some with cards in their hatbands. The reason for the gathering is not indicated but it may have been to listen to speeches by a politican or trade unionist. The business premises of George Higgins, bootmaker can be seen on the right behind the crowd. Photograph taken by William A Price, ca 1912-1914. Description: Shows a bird's-eye view of the company's premises at Custom Street West, Auckland, with the Joinery and Box Departments at the left, and the head office at the right. The two sections are joined by an overhead walkway. The far left shows sailing ships tied up at the wharves. In the foreground are neat piles of sawn timber, and in the wide corridor between the buildings, horses and carts move with their loads of timber.
