Description: Shows a clearing on an area of flat land with bush-covered hills behind. There is a group of four cows at the right, attended by a man resting on a stick. In the centre is a stand of cabbage trees, beside a tree of spreading habit. The river is visible as a narrow ribbon crossing the picture. Inscriptions: Recto - bottom right - [Initials and date]; Mat recto - top right - [At extreme top right of mat] 25 Quantity: 1 drawing(s). Physical Description: Pencil drawing 140 x 214 mm, mounted on sheet 236 x 300 mm. Provenance: Previously held by descendants of the Swainson family.
