Part two of a two-part panorama of Paeroa

Description: Part two of a two-part view of Paeroa. It shows mostly commercial buildings, a few houses, a church and the business premises of James McAndrew & Company Ltd (Timber merchants), centre right. There is a bowling green in the centre foreground, and trees in the distance beyond the road. Photograph taken by an unidentified photographer. For part one see APG-1777-1/4. Note in the Godber Accessions List "From Evening Post Collection" Part of a collection of images relating to the Thames and Hauraki areas (from APG-1772-1/2 to APG-1779-1/2). The location was identified from a building on the extreme left of this image, which links with the one on the extreme right of the first negative. Identification of place from Wise's Post Office Directory (1914 edition), which lists James McAndrew & Company. Quantity: 1 b&w original negative(s).
