Tapes of interviews with Mitchell by Doug Crosado have been transferred to the Oral History Centre. Nearly all papers relating to Mitchell's involvement with local politics in Freemans Bay, Auckland, have been deposited with the Auckland Institute and Museum. This is a variation or pastiche of the Cinderella story. Original drawing for the cartoon published in the Dominion, 5 June 1975.
