Description: Photographs comprising: Six panoramas of the three military camps. One of Trentham showing the rows of long huts with some tents to the left and a billiards hall, YMCA, catholic hall and military shooting gallery on the right. One of Tauherenikau showing men filling troughs and loading carts in the foreground and tents in the background amongst the trees. Four of Featherston showing "canvas town"; the rows of huts with a small row of shops including a photographers, and a railway siding on the right; the stables with horses; and the training ground with artillery lined up on the left and the huts behind. Photographer was Varley. Templars Cricket Club, runners up in the third class championship of Wellington Cricket Association 1910-1911. The names given are: standing - G Price (Honorary Auditor), D Hampton (Vice President), E Dooley, G Lambert, J E Tullett, W A Allan (Club Captain), H Q Bruce (Vice President); sitting - A McKenzie, A Dryden (Honorary Secretary and Treasurer), H S Wright (Captain), C W Brown (Vice Captain), R Blenkinsop; in front - E Ryan, J Blenkinsop, J M Donn; absent - S Cresswell, S Patterson, B Pooley. Group at Mr H Batenburg's birthday party, Socialist Hall, Wellington, 1910. Also includes panoramic group portrait of "Eastern Suburbs Bowling Tournament", 1931. Two copy negatives of Wellington wharves and children date unknown.
