Former ACT leader Rodney Hide clushes his wounded backside and rushes away. Context - Don Brash has ousted Rodney Hide and taken over his role as leader of the the ACT Party in a bloodless coup (hence the pop-guns). The cartoon suggests collusion with John Key. The ACT Party now has both Roger Douglas, the creator of 'Rogernomics' the financial reforms in 1984 that introduced deregulation and a reliance on the markets for economic growth, and Don Brash who is a follower of that line of thinking.
