Description: Panoramic view of the Papatahi Estate homestead, South Wairarapa. Single-storeyed. Garden designed by Alfred William Buxton, with an arched arbour to the right of the house and an expansive lawn in front with many newly planted trees and shrubs. There is a roofed walkway from the main house on the left past three small rooms, leading to a billiard room. High trees behind the house. Photograph taken by R P Moore in 1924.
