Includes: Construction of a Maori canoe, from the hauling of a log from the bush to its decoration with carvings and launch Maori song and dance River scenes from 18 March 1938, when the waka Te Winika, ferried the Governor General Lord Galway and Lady Galway along the Waikato River to open Turongo House, Turangawaewae. Construction sites and camps Colwyn Frank Jones was a journalist with the Auckland Star. He worked between the Wars and had a close relationship with Princess Te Puea.
