Description: Personal photographs of family and friends. The collection has a strong female focus; Edith Smith and what are probably her classmates and friends at an easter camp, swimming, in groups, and just generally together. There are photographs of what must be family, relations, and family friends. Some of these are associated with a farm, and there are photographs of mothers and grandmothers with babies. Men appear in the later photographs more and more, especially from 1914/15 when most of them are soldiers on their way to war This is a collection primarily focused on people. Names and places have been written on the lids of negative boxes. These have been archived and their numbers relate to negative groups recorded in the negative registers. However these negative groups do not necessarily relate to the information on the box lids to which they are related. Quantity: 270 b&w original photographic print(s).
