Description: Photographs taken during the royal tour of New Zealand made by the Prince of Wales in 1920. Many of the images are of military inspections and displays by school children. There are also displays of Maori dancing and singing, the sailors of the HMS Renown, on which the prince had travelled , prior to their soccer match in Dunedin, the prince addressing the crowds etc. A number of the images are in two-part panoramas. Also included are four scenic photographs by the New Zealand Tourist Department which may have been taken in 1903. The photographer for the tour photographs was Guy. Description: Slides relating to the Lutheran Church of New Zealand, chiefly taken circa 1950s-1960s by unidentified photographers. Contains slides of Lutheran Church buildings around New Zealand. These include interior and exterior shots of churches in Dannevirke, Marton, Halcombe, Mauriceville West, Upper Moutere, Crummer Road (Grey Lynn), Christchurch, Hamilton, and Palmerston North, as well as manse in Palmerston North and Auckland. Some church locations are unidentified. Reverend N Shultz is photographed with members of Hamilton's Estonian community in traditional dress and there are images of unidentified congregants. Miscellaneous images include Mrs Eckert playing cricket, a cake stall, Auckland Museum exterior, and scenic shot of Mount Lyttle (photographed by N Hatwell).
