Description: The cartoon shows PM John Key lying in bed sweating from a nightmare In which chefs in a 'Tuhoe Kitchen' are preparing to cook a meal with 'Key' ingredients. John Key mutters in his dream that 'it was only a joke'. Refers to a 'joke' by PM John Key when speaking at a tourism event in Auckland; Mr Key made a joke about enjoying a dinner at a Ngati Porou marae on the East Coast this week. He said 'the good news is that I was having dinner with Ngati Porou as opposed to their neighbouring iwi, which is Tuhoe, in which case I would have been dinner, which wouldn't have been quite so attractive'. The joke has been labelled badly timed and insensitive by a Maori Party MP. It was specifically referring to Key's apparent about-turn by denying that Tuhoe would ever be granted ownership of the Urewera National Park after Tuhoe believed that this was going to be the case.
