Description: Topographic map of the area from Cape Palliser and Cape Turakirai [sic], the Rimutaka and Tararua Ranges, to the Waituiti and Mataikuna Rivers. Shows runholdings, Maori reserves and lands not purchased, and various Maori names for natural features in the Wairarapa valley and on the coast. Rivers and streams are named. Boundaries of runholders' properties are marked and names include W. Spinks, C. Sharp, G. Scott, M.A. Buxton, J. Taine, F. Burton, G. Moore, M. Hill, Hales & Murch, R. Collins, S.M. Scroggs, Donald and Rhodes, J. Northwood, Smith and Revans, C.R. Bidwill, A. Gillies, R. McMaster, P. Hume, J. Kelly, R. Russell, C. Matthews, Camerons, D. Riddiford, R. Barton.
