Back row left to right: Hohepa Tamamutu; John Joshua; Mrs Kemp (Sophia Joshua's mother); Sophia Joshua. Front: Midge Joshua (born Louise Martha Salter, adopted daughter of John & Sophia Joshua) Date, and names of wharenui and individuals supplied by a researcher.
