Description: Photographs of staff and pupils at Waiwhetu Girls' High School from its inception in 1958 to 1963. Staff and students from each year are seen with full identification. As well as photographs of the whole school, there are smaller groups of staff, prefects, the different class photographs, and various sporting teams including basketball, hockey, tennis, swimming and athletics. Various sporting teams are shown, including basketball, cricket, tennis, hockey and athletics; and two photographs show members of the school who were active as student librarians.
