Description: A father looks under his small son's bed and sees a horrible slavering monster that represents 'released child killers'. He tells his son that he is right about there being a monster under his bed. A man convicted of beating to death four-year-old James Whakaruru 11 years ago will leave jail next month after serving out his full 12-year manslaughter sentence. Benny Haerewa was jailed for killing Whakaruru, who died in Hawke's Bay hospital from extensive internal injuries in April 1999 after prolonged beatings. The Parole Board said that while it has fears Haerewa is likely to reoffend, he must be released because he will have served almost his full 12-year manslaughter sentence, Radio New Zealand reported. Description: A man is on his way to the pub and sees a notice outside a newsagent that reads 'School milk drinkers beat cancer' and further on a sign that reads 'Breast is best'. He decides he will surprise the barman by ordering a pint of milk but when he is faced by a bargirl with enormous breasts his courage fails him and he orders a packet of chips instead. Context - Adults who drank plenty of the free milk supplied at schools when they were young have a reduced risk of bowel cancer, a study has found. Description: In the top frame voices coming from a pub in the evening discuss something that happened to Ted - apparently someone whacked him because he complemented someone on a moustache grown for Mo-vember. In the lower frame a bruised and bandaged Ted has a lonely drink in the pub. The conversation started above continues with the bartender telling a patron that it was Ted's wife who whacked him - justifiably too in my opinion! 'Movember' is a moustache growing charity event held during November each year that raises funds for and awareness of men's health issues.
