A section or fenced road can be seen where it passes by the front of the house. The identity of the building is unknown. Label on backing board recto named the work as: "The Mission House, Waimate North", but this seems inaccurate, given the hilly topography, and the design of the house. It may be a mission house or farm house. Quantity: 1 watercolour(s). Physical Description: Watercolour, 255 x 355 mm. Provenance: Previously purchased for the Fletcher Collection, Auckland, 1977.
