One of them says that they shouldn't have come out and asks their friend what the marine forecast for the Marlborough was like. Floating in the water the friend replies while the other person is clinging to their boat, as the Interislander ferry passes them in the distance. They reply that it is was the same as always - calm spells between the giant waves produced by the Interislander ferry.
