Description: Photographs relating to Herbert Spackman and his family and relatives, chiefly taken by him. Places include views of Wellington and bays, Eketahuna and the Wanganui district. Very few of the people shown are fully identified but are likely to be Harry Spackman’s: mother (Eliza Spackman, nee Hawkings), father (Henry Spackman), brother, mother-in-law (Mrs Coxall, mother of Harry’s first wife Amy), and father-in-law (Mr Parnell, father of Fanny Parnell, Harry's second wife). Several houses are shown, including: ‘Rangiuru’, located at 63 Hutt Road, Petone, Wellington; House of Eketahuna farmer David S Lowe; House of David S Lowe’s brother Henry (‘Harry’) Goold Spackman in Wanganui, both interior and exterior, ‘Ben Venuto’ situated at 59 Rintoul Street and house of Henry (‘Harry’) Goold Spackman in Wellington, both interior and exterior views.
