Description: Flier addressing Scottish customers, points out that New Zealand exports almost exclusively to the United Kingdom, making the fullest possible use of British-owned vessels and paying over 8 million pounds a year in freight charges on shipped goods. A circular motif at top left shows the New Zealand and Scottish flgs arranged with Scottish thistle and kowhai. At top right is a map of the globe with a ship steaming from New Zealand to Britain. The verso contains a message from Mr A J Sinclair, Secretary-Manager of the Te Awamutu Dairy Company (and also a "Motherwell Chiel'"), to the retail grocers of Scotland, asking them to feature "Lotus" brand butter and other New Zealand brands, because of its excleent qualities.
