Shows plans for new buildings, Dance-O-Mat (Gap Filler project) on the corner of Manchester and St Asaph Streets, remains of the Hotel Grand Chancellor, Novotel Hotel, Rydges Hotel, plaque set into the pavement in High Street (Laid by the Canterbury Pilgrims & Early Settlers Association in celebration of Canterbury's centenary in 1950), remains of the DIA building, damage to Our City O-Tautahi building, Isaac Royal Theatre, views along streets cleared of rubble, Ironside House being repiled, demolition of St Stephen's Anglican Church (Shirley), damage to houses in Waygreen Avenue (shows houses abandoned and demolition sites, next to occupied homes).
