Description: Shows a distant view of William Fox's homestead, Westoe, on the Rangitikei River flat. A snow-covered Mount Ruapehu is seen in the distance. In the bottom-left foreground is a white-bearded man on a horse, with a small dog; this is possibly Fox himself, though he is not identified.
