A large number of houses of all sorts including some state houses and art deco styled houses. Other localities include Gordonston, Tauwhare, Huntly, Waingaro, Rotowaro, Raglan, Ngaruawahia, and Okete. These include much the same sorts of buildings as well as churches, schools, hotels, public halls, cemeteries, and bridges. There is also a sequence of views of the abandoned carbonisation works at Rotowaro which opened in 1931 and closed in 1987. Quantity: 154 colour original photographic print(s).

Description: Architectural plans of commercial buildings in Hamilton and the Waikato District, including Te Awamutu and Frankton Junction. Includes photographs (some taken by F J Gilbert, or G Cartwright) of some of the buildings, and also several of Mangahoe Bridge under construction. Buildings include the Wesley Buildings, the New Zealand Dairy Association building at Frankton Junction, the Waikato Argus building, and a public hall at Karamu. Most of the plans are signed "Fred C Daniell", or "F C Daniell, Architect, Hamilton". Title on cover attributes the work to his father Charles Edward Daniell, though it was Frederick who had a practice in Hamilton during the period covered by this album, and all the signatures are those of Frederick.
