Description: View of commercial buildings on the Wellington Harbour waterfront, circa 1887, including the Star Boating Club premises, photographed by Wrigglesworth and Binns. It shows the Star Boating Club being moved while reclamation was in progress (A McClure, contractor, about 1887). This image is a glass copy negative made from an original, by Albert Percy Godber. This image was identified from comparison with 1/2-051486-F (File print at 41. Wellington. Clubs. Star Boating. 1887). It shows the inscription on the original photograph by Wrigglesworth & Binns which reads "271. Star Boat Clubhouse. Wellington. W & B", and there is a note of the back of the File Print which reads "Moving the Star Boating Clu while reclamation was in progress. Mr A McGuire, contractor, about 1887".
