Houses in Wellington Terrace and beyond, and the Bolton Street Cemetery (on right) can be seen on the hills behind, with Tinakori Hill in the background. Identifiable premises on Lambton Quay are: T J Mountain; Edward Greaves Smith (Music Warehouse); Henry Owen; baker's shop; chemist & druggist; G Read; J Cook & Son.
