John Key and Paula Bennett agree that the police do a wonderful job and that neither Mr Broad nor Mr Pope was pushed. Context - The 2007 Bazley inquiry was sparked by Dominion Post investigations into police conduct. Since the inquiry, police have been criticised for taking too long to implement the cultural changes identified. The report revealed nepotism, discrimination against women and poor performance among senior staff as problems within the police force.
