Description: The front of the card shows the title text beneath a reproduction portrait of a woman in a wide hat trimmed with roses. The picture is entitled "Roses" and is copyright 1909 by the Gerlach-Barklow Company, Joliet, Illinois, USA. The verso bears a message to "The Householder, Christchurch" - "Madam, we cordially invite you to our early Summer Show, Tuesday Sept 27th, and following days. W Strange & Co., Ltd. It is postmarked in Christchurch, 22 September. Date 1910 likely because of perpetual calendar, style, and corroborative advertising in Christchurch Press 26 September 1910, page 5. Quantity: 1 colour photo-mechanical print(s). Physical Description: Photolithograph on postcard 140 x 90 mm. Provenance: Purchased in 2006.
