Description: View of Porirua city and harbour looking north with Plimmerton in the far distance, taken between 1970 and 1976 by Robert E Wells of New Plymouth. Library client suggested that ca 1977 was a more appropriate date than the original assessment of 1970-1976. His grounds for this deduction were - (1) A mark 1V Cortina is one of the cars at the intersection, and these were not produced locally until 1977.
