Description: Shows a view of the two-storeyed homestead and two other closer single-storey buildings. There are cattle and sheep grazing in the paddock to the right, and bare hills in the background. Identified as Cheviot Hills Station by a previous owner. It is possible that the hills are bare as a result of the painting's being unfinished, with the top of the bush line just sketched in.
