Description: Letters from Rev Clive Mortimer-Jones, written to his parishioners and published in the Cambridge Anglican Church parish magazine. He sailed with 26th Reinforcements for the New Zealand Expeditionary Force from New Zealand in August 1917 and after a brief period in England was stationed as chaplain with the 3rd Battalion, Canterbury Regiment. His letters, February 1917-June 1919 describe his experiences working as a chaplain, including his experiences on the Western Front.
