Description: Two men in the left foreground on the banks of a rocky stream, with Mount Whitcombe on the upper left, Whitcombe Pass in the centre and Mount Martius on the upper left. Low scrub and possibly tussock on the mountains. Original for a lithograph by Ward & Reeves, published as plate No. 14 in: Haast, Julius.
