From Sydney she sailed for home on the "Orontes" via the Suez Canal. Groups of photographs record deck life and other passengers, the warves, people and places visited while in Colombo, Sri lanka (Ceylon), the approaches to Suez and a visit to the pyramids sphinx and temples in Egypt, a stop at Naples and a lot of photographs and some postcards of Pompeii, and finally views of Gibraltar including one of a Spainish guard at the boarder post.
