Description: Photographs of deer carcasses being processed for export at Consolidated Traders Ltd's works at Rongatea and Rotorua. Also featured are carcasses of wild pigs awaiting processing and frozen goat carcasses bagged and ready for export. Several photographs show bales of deer pelts packed and covered with hessian. Deer photographed on Rex Giles' farm, Forest Park, at Maroa north of Taupo. Most of these photographs were in albums of plastic sleaves and were probably used as promotional material for the company. The prints were removed from the albums as the type of plastic bonds with the emusion of the print. Quantity: 54 b&w original photographic print(s).

The township itself is laid out, naming streets including Haswell, Alfredton, Anderson, Jones, Bright, Bengston, Queen and Main Street. Unsold sections are coloured pink and state the section number, acreage and selling price while sold sections are marked 'sold' in black. Site use is stated where known: five hotels, a farmer's club, an Anglican, Wesleyan and Presbyterian church, Masonic lodge, A.O.F Lodge room, public hall, police, court, school, general post office and library are identified.
