Description: Design drawing for an advertisement for the Farmers' Trading Company shows an illustration of the Auckland six-storey building on a street corner. At the left a long navy-blue articulated bus with "Farmers Trading Co" along its side twice, is parked beside the building. The background sky is orange-gold with radiating sun rays. There is a blank space at the right where text was to go in the published version. Dated from the time of appearance of a slightly altered version in Brett's Christmas number, 1 December 1930. It is not verified that the Farmers free bus service used an articulated bus at this time. There are no other known instances of an articulated bus in New Zealand at the time.
