Description: Comprises copies of letters written to Greenaway by D C H Florance re Augustus Florance Junior and James Speight (1960s-1970s) and copies of Augustus Florance's articles in the `Lyttelton times' and the `Canterbury times' (1883, 1892), the reminiscences of Augustus, D C H Florance's brother (North New Brighton, a periodical, 1953) and a letter of Elizabeth Florance (Christchurch Star, May 1922). Greenaway was researching James Speight, the Florance family and New Brighton history for `Church on a sandhill' (1967) and `Burwood, All Saints' church' (1977).
