Description: Album of views in Southland, Wanaka, Castlepoint, Belmont, Wainui Bay, Wairoa, Kopanga, and Tokomaru bay taken in the 1970s-1980s by Alison Andrew. Many of the photographs were taken during visits to friends who feature in the images. Also recorded are their children, houses, farms, and especially their gardens. One goup are of gardeners at the Lady Norwood Rose Garden in the Wellington Botanic Garden mulching the roses with spent mushroom mould. Other events recorded are the Castlepoint races and weddings.
