Description: Two boat loads of people rowing in Arkles Bay in front of Arkle's Bay House. Kia Ora House can be seen in the distance on the far right. A flagpole is on the right of Arkle's Bay House. Taken by William A Price in early 1900s (possibly from the jetty at the north end of the bay). Inscriptions: Photographer's title on negative - bottom centre - Arkle's Bay. Auckland. No 3551 Relationship complexity - A similar view of the two row boats is available at 1/2-000476 William Archer Price lived and practised in Queen Street, Northcote, 1909-1910.
