Description: Cartoon shows President Obama of the United States about to give his State of the Union address. His aide, holding a newspaper, is saying 'Could you hold off your state of the union address for a moment please Mister President!... The teapot tapes have just been leaked!' Refers to the leaking of the contents of the taped conversation between John Key and John Banks held over 'a cup of tea' prior to the 2011 General Election, and intended to cement an agreement on strategic voting in the Epsom Electorate. In New Zealand the essentially minor leak made headlines, overshadowing overseas news. Colour and black and white versions available Quantity: 2 digital cartoon(s).
