Description: View of the lower east side of Queen Street, Auckland, taken from the west side of the street. Shows row of premises of Williams and Co (far left on corner with Fort Street), Ship Chandlers and Sailmakers, E & H Isaacs, General Merchants, W. Brighton, Outfitters, New Zealand Insurance Company offices, P.A. Philips, Ironmonger, T. Delattre, Homeopathic Pharmaceutist. Several men stand beside a variety of horse drawn carriages and handsome cabs which are parked along Queen Street. Taken by unknown photographer circa 1865 - 1866.
