Description: Exterior view of All Saints Anglican Church, Pebbleton, Canterbury, New Zealand Inscriptions: Album page - beneath image - Prebbleton Church This was the second church building on the site. It was designed by Benjamin Woolfield Mountfort of Christchurch and built 1871/1872. In October 1871 tenders were invited for its construction. The first stone was laid 16 November 1871. The opening service was held on 21 July 1872. In 1906 this church burned down and was replaced by a building of almost identical design in 1907 (info from "Prebbleton" by Margaret R Prebble.
