He describes various tours of Italy, Spain, France and Austria. Braithwaite discusses many of the important people he meets, including Karl Rankl, David Webster, von Karajan, Edward J Dent, Ricardo Blamey-Lafone and Vaughan Williams. Finally, he visted Finland where he met Sibelius, and had more world travels (1953-1956), visiting and working in Australia, New Zealand and the United States. Description: The cartoon shows a small island, New Zealand, with a small pipe reading, Motunui, dripping small amounts of pollution into the sea. Looking over their shoulders the New Zealanders notice a Frenchman from another island waving and saying hello. He is standing next to a pipe that reads, Mururoa, which is pouring huge amounts of pollution into the sea. The New Zealander's look shocked.
