The new buildings of Wellington College are in the top left and evidence of the recently demolished old gothic school is visible on the terraces in front of the main buildings. Taken by an unidentified photographer, circa 1931. Note on back of file print reads: The buildings stand as a result of the rebuilding carried out during the 1920s - the last of this being the addition of the two classroom wings which opened in February 1930. The old gothic school was still standing in March 1931. This may have recently been demolished as there seems to be some activity on the terrace in front of the main buildings.
