Context: Member of Parliament John Banks illegally reported 'anonymous' campaign donations, rather than name large donations from Sky City and Kim Dotcom during his failed 2010 campaign for the Auckland mayoralty. Auckland police deemed there to be insufficient evidence to prosecute Banks. Pole vault was a sport during the 2012 Olympics in London, which occurred around the same time.
