Description: Photographs relating to Anders Hansen. These include a trip to the Auckland Islands on the Government steamer,`Hinemoa' in 1925. Mrs Hamiora's house in Taupo photographed in 1974. Maori artifacts collected by Anders Hansen's family when he was lighthouse keeper at Little Papanui Inlet from 1916 to 1919. In 2005 the Maori artifacts were sold to the Otago Museum where they now form the Anders/Tiller Collection. Description: Seven images of taonga Maori (Maori artefacts) collected by David Graham for the Auckland Museum: two of a pou rahui used to mark eel fishing territories (one of these shows Rihi Kawiti); one of the Kumiti canoe used to sledge cannon balls at Ruapekapeka; one of a group including Kirihi Te Riri Maihi Kawiti and D H Graham displaying taonga; one of the sternpost of the last canoe from North Auckland to raid the Bay of Plenty; and two of burial grounds at Waiomio.
