Description: Negatives showing scenes in Wellington, Christchurch, and the Nelson Region. Ships at the Wellington Wharves and boats at Oriental Bay, an early balloon flight, and motoring tours in the South Island. Many of the images are of individuals and groups of the Sparrow family taken in their garden. There are several negatives of a soldier. Taken ca 1913-1915 by an unknown photographer. The negatives are from the family of Mrs Timperley's father. Gordon Sparrow (G J Sparrow Lt camera repairs) is the donor's father's first cousin.
