Description: Shows Muldoon dreaming about Think Big and holding plans for the aluminium smelter and a pulp mill. Darts (Alu-Suisse and C.S.R.) pop his dreams. He stands surrounded by the tatters of Think Big telling C.S.R. to make a decision about proceeding or the government will find someone else. C.S.R. was an Australian company which proposed the Aramoana smelter with two other companies: Alusuisse and Fletcher Holdings. The consortium later changed it's name to South Pacific Aluminium Consortium. Description: There are three scenes in this cartoon. In the top right Muldoon is sitting at his desk talking to three men dressed in army style uniforms with helmets and carrying briefcases labelled I.T.F. (Industrial Task Force). Muldoon is saying that they must settle a dispute which is causing extreme hardship to many people. In the lower left the I.T.F. officers are racing out of the Prime Minister's office to tackle the task. In the lower right they are standing at the wharf where a Bluff oyster boat is tied up. The I.T.F. officer is telling the boat's captain to settle the dispute and 'get the essential oyster supplies flowing to the North Island'. Description: The first scene shows a man in gumboots being hit by side of meat, bale of wool and butter falling on him (falling prices) - The economy has taken some hard knocks lately - and can use something to revive it. The farmer (hole in gumboot, black eye, patched trousers, grazed arm) is being revived by a man in a suit with some smelling salts in a bottle labelled Al.
